About Edith
I moved to Coquitlam, British Columbia with my family when I was just a teenager.
When it was time to go to law school, I decided to throw caution to the wind and go to Australia in 2006. Australia was so great, I not only finished my law degree, but was also called to the New South Wales Bar in December 2009. To begin my career, I practiced as a criminal lawyer with the Aboriginal Legal Services in Newcastle, NSW.
I then went on to join NLS Law in Broadmeadow, NSW. Whilst employed with NLS Law, I practiced in the areas of Children’s, Family and Victims’ Compensation law. I loved every minute of it.
In November 2010, I decided it was time to come home, to Coquitlam, British Columbia as I wished to be settled here with my young family.
I was called to the British Columbia Bar in May 2014. Having practiced law in two law firms, opportunity came to start my own practice in 2016. I chose to do so in gorgeous Port Moody, British Columbia.
I believe that court should be the last resort, and work really hard for my clients to avoid litigation. However, over the years I have successfully represented many clients in the Supreme Court and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.
When I am free, I love spending time with my husband and my two children. I love crocheting. Everyone in my family gets a crochet gift for Christmas, every year, whether they want it or not. Reading is something I do every time I have a minute to spare. I regularly watch Star Trek: Next Generation, Dr. Who and all the new Sci-Fi on streaming services today.
